This Cookie Policy explains what cookies PraxBook sets when you use our platform, why we use them, and how you can manage your preferences. For more information on how we handle personal data generally, see our Privacy Policy.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. They allow websites to remember information about your visit — such as whether you are logged in or what language you prefer. Cookies cannot run programmes or carry viruses.
Cookies we use
Session cookie (essential)
We set a session cookie when you log in. It is essential for authentication
— without it you would be logged out on every page. It is marked
httpOnly (inaccessible to JavaScript) and expires after 7 days
of inactivity. This cookie cannot be disabled without losing access to your
account.
Preferences cookie
We store your language preference so the platform remembers your choice across sessions. This cookie has a lifetime of 1 year and contains no personal data beyond your selected locale.
Analytics cookies (optional)
Where a business using PraxBook has enabled analytics, pages may load Google Analytics and/or Microsoft Clarity. These services use their own cookies to collect aggregate usage statistics (pages visited, session duration, device type). Analytics cookies are only active when the Tenant has explicitly enabled them — PraxBook does not set them on pages where analytics have not been enabled.
What we do not use
PraxBook does not set any advertising or ad-tracking cookies. We do not build advertising profiles, track users across third-party websites, or share browsing data with ad networks.
Managing your preferences
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies — note that blocking the session cookie will prevent login. For analytics cookies, you may also use the Google Analytics Opt-out Add-on. Refer to your browser's help documentation for further guidance.
